Merritt Township, Bay County – Merritt Township has a population of 1,510 and is 36 square miles in size.

We recently completed writing a Master Plan, which is currently in the comment stage and are beginning a new zoning ordinance. Merritt Township is largely agricultural but influenced by nearby Bay City.
